The island of Capri
With an area of 10.36 sq km, it is long at its most extreme points, about 6.17 km and reaches a maximum width of 2.75 km.
The island inherits its name in ancient times, in fact the Latin name of the island, Capreae, is derived from the presence in it of wild boars or goats, depending on whether it is considered of Greek or Latin origin.
Famous for its natural beauty, millenary history, mild climate and luminous landscape, it is as we all know, one of the favorite destinations for international tourism and beyond.
